Dia 05/09/2014 – Primeiro dia em Coventry

Iniciei meu dia com um belo café da manhã. Bem, diferente, mas... Aqui temos para o café, cereais, iogurte, leite café, torradas, manteiga, geléia. Apesar de sentir falta das frutas, estava tudo normal, até chegarem os ovos, bacon, linguiça e, o mais inusitado, feijão. Pois é, aqui come-se feijão no café da manhã, mas, vamos lá...

Coventry é uma cidade que se mostra multicultural. Ao andar pelo centro da cidade podemos observar pessoas de diversas regiões do planeta. Nota-se pessoas da África, da China, do Oriente Médio, da Índia, do Brasil, em fim, pessoas de cultura muito diferente e uma forma bem característica de se portar.

Andei pelas ruas do centro da cidade em diversos horários do dia e, em nenhum deles percebi pessoas jogadas nos cantos, como é muito comum observar no Brasil. Vi pessoas de diferentes condições sociais sim, e até mesmo umas três pessoas que me pareceram um pouco mais sujas, como os famosos “moradores de rua” do Brasil, no entanto, estes estavam apenas andando pela cidade e não jogados ou carregando suas “coisas” pelas ruas.

Apesar de estar no centro da cidade, percebi poucas pessoas transitando, ônibus que passavam com lugares ainda desocupados, e nenhuma pessoa que me despertasse insegurança. Os pedestres andavam com celulares na mão, equipamentos eletrônicos, segurando suas bolsas confortavelmente e não agarrados a ela. Impossível não comparar à realidade no Brasil.

Após as 17h, horário em que se encerram as atividades na Universidade, nos encontramos no centro para combinarmos as próximas atividades do dia e nos separamos novamente. Um grupo foi para a estação de trem, recepcionar o Pedro, outro grupo foi recepcionar Andressa, que estava chegando de ônibus, e levá-la ao seu alojamento e Rosely e eu fomos encarregadas de ir ao supermercado para comprar os ingredientes para a janta. Após ter cumprido a missão, encontramos com o primeiro grupo e seguimos caminhando para o alojamento onde o Pedro iria ficar. O segundo grupo também foi pra lá para jantarmos todos juntos. Foi uma grande reunião de sexta-feira à noite. Muita troca de informações, experiências e muita risada. E vamos em frente... #CARNIVALPROJECT, #LONRIO, #LEGACIES4ALL.

Day 05/09/2014 - First day in Coventry

Started my day with a good breakfast. Well, different, but ... Here we have for coffee, cereal, yogurt, milk, coffee, toast, butter, jam. Despite feeling a lack of fruits, everything was normal, until the arrive of the eggs, bacon, sausage, and most unusual, beans. Well, here eats beans for breakfast, but come on ...

Coventry is a city that shows multicultural. While walking through the city center we can see people from different regions of the planet. Note-if people from Africa, China, the Middle East, India, Brazil, in order, people from very different culture and a very characteristic way of behaving.

I walked the streets of the city center at various times of the day, and none of them realized people played in the corners, as it is very common to see in Brazil. I saw people of different social conditions yes, and even about three people who seemed a bit dirtier, like the famous "homeless" in Brazil, however, these were just walking around the city and not thrown or carrying their "things "the streets.

Despite being in the city center, few people realized transitioning, passing buses with seats still vacant, and no person who woke me insecure. Pedestrians walked with phones in hand, electronic equipment, comfortably holding their bags and not clinging to it. Impossible not to compare the reality in Brazil.

After 17h, a time that will close the activities at the University, we meet in the center to combine the next day's activities and parted again. One group went to the train station, welcome Pedro, another group was meet Andressa, who was coming by bus, and take it to your accommodation and Rosely and I were tasked to go to the supermarket to buy ingredients for dinner. After completing the mission, met with the first group and we keep going to the accommodation where Pedro would stay. The second group was also there to have dinner together. It was a great meeting Friday evening. Much exchange of information, experience and lots of laughter. And let's move on ... #CARNIVALPROJECT, #LONRIO, # LEGACIES4ALL.
