Domingo dia 07, após partir do Rio de Janeiro, no vôo da British Airways (BA 0248) e voar um pouco mais de 11 horas, finalmente cheguei em Londres às 13 horas horário local. Todas as vezes que chego a um aeroporto deste porte, fico me perguntando se uma pessoa menos cosmopolita conseguiria entender o caminho para pegar as malas, passar pela alfândega, imigração e encontrar o melhor transporte para chegar até o destino final. O aeroporto de Heathrow não é diferente de outros grandes aeroportos da Europa, por isso existe a necessidade da pessoa ficar atenta ao fluxo em direção ao setor de imigração, ao preenchimento correto do formulário necessário. A carta de recomendação da Universidade de Coventry foi importante quando fui perguntado sobre o que iria fazer no Reino Unido. Passado a imigração, peguei minhas malas e fui comprar o ticket de ônibus para Coventry. Compra realizada (₤38.50), eu tive apenas 10 minutos para entrar na internet e avisar ao Grupo Carnival que estaria chegando por volta das 17 horas...

Sunday September 7, after I left Rio de Janeiro in the flight of British Airways (BA 0248) and flew a little more than 11 hours, I finally arrived in London at 13 hours local time. Every time I arrive at an airport of this size, I question myself if a less cosmopolitan person could understand the way to pick up the bags, go through customs, immigration and find the best transportation to get to the final destination. Heathrow airport is no different from other major airports in Europe, so there is the necessity of staying attentive to flow toward the immigration sector, the correct completion of the form required. A letter of recommendation from the University of Coventry was important when I was asked about what I would do in the UK. Passing by the immigration, I picked up my bags and went to buy bus ticket to Coventry. Purchase made (₤ 38.50), I had only 10 minutes to get on the internet and tell the Carnival Group who would be arriving around 17 hours ...
