Minhas primeiras impressões por Marco Miéres Filho

Após
uma viajem de aproximadamente 10 horas do Rio de janeiro até Londres e primeira
impressão de Londres foi ótima um povo bem hospitaleiro desde a imigração até o
atendente da loja do sim card que adquiri no aeroporto por 20 libras que me
dava direito a ter 500 minutos de ligações locais mais SMS grátis 2 gb de
internet 4G, após isso fui ao centro de informações onde fui atendido por um
amigável rapaz ao qual me orientou qual direção tomar e onde deveria comprar a
passagem de trem até meu destino para o hotel, com o mapa na mão fui para o
metrô onde tudo tinha sido até esse momento bem tranquilo, já no metrô fiz a
"baldeação" para a linha que necessitava pegar, pois o metrô londrino
tem muitas linhas e muitas estações, chegando na estação OLD STREET minha estação
de destino fui em busca do meu hotel, mas para me deslocar para o hotel passei
por um "calvário" pois como acabava de chegar de viajem eu só estava
com duas malas e uma mochila e na estação de old street tive que subir uma
escadaria enorme, e já me peguei imaginando uma pessoa com mobilidade reduzida
ou ate mesmo um deficiente como seria esse deslocamento, passado essa montanha,
pois a escadaria era considerável, fui tentar achar meu hotel, na saída do
metrô sem ter ideia de onde seria meu hotel , fui perguntar ao um morador local
ao qual foi muito solicito e prontamente me ajudou, ao qual descobri que o meu
hotel e muito próximo da estação de metrô, após alguns minutos de caminhada
finalmente cheguei ao meu hotel, ao qual tinha feito a reserva pela internet
por recomendação do meu amigo e orientador Dr. Leonardo Mataruna, tudo correu
bem e puder ir para o meu quarto, ao chegar no meu quarto tive a primeira
experiencia com quarto londrino de um hotel ao qual o nome era EASYHOTEL, ao
abrir a porta do quarto, surpresa o quarto tinha uma cama de casal e um
banheiro e só, as malas tinham que ficar ao lado da cama e para eu me deslocar
ou ate mesmo abrir minha mala tinha que fazer escolhas, o quarto era pequeno
sim mas era bem habitável e a limpeza era impecável, já a internet o hotel
somente no lobby e mesmo assim o sinal era muito fraco e disputado pois o hotel
por ser considerado um que tem os maiores quartos da rede e sua localização era
muito boa, o hotel sempre tinha muita movimentação de pessoas chegando e
partindo e com isso o lobby na maioria do tempo se encontrava cheio. Após as
primeiras impressões da chegada e do hotel, fui conhecer Londres e seus famosos
pontos turísticos, mas devido a toda esse jornada fui sair do
hotel pelas 20:00, chegando na estação de waterloo, fui tentar descobrir onde
seria o famoso THE LONDON EYE, após alguns minutos tentando descobrir e após a
ajuda do povo local que mais uma vez foram muito atenciosos e amáveis,
finalmente me deparava com o London eye, ao qual descobri que fechava as 20:30
e no momento eram 21:00 mas mesmo assim tive a noção de quão grandioso é o
London eye, uma obra majestosa as margens do Tamisa River e ao
cruzar westminster Bridge me deparo com o famoso Big Ben, uma obra
linda e como também magestosa. Após passado o momento turistês, comecei a
observar as dificuldades que pessoas com a mobilidade reduzida e até mesmo
deficientes tinham e teriam para poder aproveitar um lugar tão lindo e
prazeroso como Londres se mostrava, mesmo tarde da noite a cidade se
mostrava bem atraente e cheia, após mais algumas observações, fiz o caminho de
volta para o meu hotel. No dia seu seguinte comecei a me organizar para o
deslocamento para a cidade de Coventry e para a universidade de coventry,
devido ao alguns problemas e contratempos fui para coventry somente no dia
seguinte, como o recomendado pelo prof. Dr. Mataruna, peguei um trem até
Euston. Em Euston fui comprar a passagem na Midland, pois havia sido informado
que as passagens da Virgin seriam mais caras,mas ao chegar na estação de trem
só encontrava guiches e maquinas de compra de tickets da Virgin e após me
informar no guest information descobri que havia um guiche da midland quase que
escondido na entrada da plataforma 10 e na verdade dois guiches contra algumas
centenas da Virgin que se encontravam no hall principal da estação, após a
compra do bilhete fui tentar descobrir em qual plataforma eu iria embarcar,
após a descoberta da plataforma embarquei no trem muito bonito e limpo que
estava marcado para partir as 11:13 e exatamente as 11:13 sem um segundo a mais
ou um segundo a menos o trem partiu, após aproximadamente uma hora e trinta
minutos chego na estação de coventry, na saída da estação pego um
transporte para chegar até o meu primeiro alojamento o famoso mataruna's house
pois minha acomodação só estaria liberada no dia seguinte e para eu não me
tornar um sem tento em plena universidade de coventry, o professor Mataruna
gentilmente me alojou em sua residência, na ida para a universidade e no
deslocamento pela cidade percebi o quanto hospitaleira e aconchegante é a
cidade e a universidade, todos e digo todos mesmo muito bem arrumados e muito
educados, a cidade muito limpa e organizada e a universidade com uma estrutura
ótima, um sonho para os nossos padrões de Brasil, o clima era de verão para os
moradores locais e residentes mas para um carioca acostumado a 19º C ser inverno
intenso os dias de verão londrino se tornaram um inverno carioca,
mas nada que alguns dias e uns bons casacos não possam dar conta, após a
primeira impressão fui conhecer o corpo acadêmico da universidade de coventry,
e também comecei a trabalhar no carnival project, e eu era meu próprio monitor nesse primeiro
dia, tinha que organizar muitas coisas ajudar o professor mataruna na
organização, e após algumas horas na universidade de muito trabalho, fomos para
casa do professor mataruna, continuar por mais algumas horas a organização dos
trabalhos de pesquisa. Esse é só o começo de uma grande jornda, uma jornada
chamada

After a journey of
about 10 hours from Rio de Janeiro to London and first impression of London was

huge staircase , and got me already imagining a person with reduced mobility or
physical disability how would this shift, past that mountain, because the
staircase was considerable, I was trying to find my hotel, just off the subway
with no idea where my hotel was, I ask a local which was very promptly helped
me and ask, which discovered that my hotel and very close to the subway
station, after a few minutes of walking I finally got to my hotel, which had
made the reservation by internet by recommendation of my friend and mentor Dr.
Leonardo Mataruna, the everything went well and you can go to my room to get in
my room I had my first experience with London hotel room to which the name was
EASYHOTEL, opening the door fourth, surprise the room had a double bed and a
bathroom and only the bags had to stand beside the bed and I remove or even
open my suitcase had to make choices, but the room was small but was well
habitable and the cleanliness was impeccable, the hotel has internet only in
the lobby and even then the signal was very weak and disputed because the hotel

arrival and the hotel, I went to visit London and its famous landmarks, but
because this whole journey I was leaving the hotel at 08:00 pm, arriving at the
Waterloo station, I was trying to figure out where would be the famous THE
LONDON EYE after a few minutes trying to figure out and after the help of the
local people which again were very attentive and kind, finally confronted me
with the London eye, which found that closed at 08:30pm and was 09:00 pm were
at the time but still I had the notion of how great is the London eye, a
majestic work the banks of the Tamisa River and crossing westminster Bridge I
come across the famous Big Ben, and a beautiful work but also majestic. After
