Dia 8, o dia de trabalho inicia-se às 9h da manhã com uma agenda preenchida
ao longo do dia. Com uma reunião marcada às 11h para esclarecimentos e
informações sobre a universidade, a cidade, os serviços que podemos ou não
usufruir mas também para falar sobre o processo de admissão das nossas bolsas.
Reunião muito bem orientada que serviu também como forma de arranque nesta nova
etapa bem como um “Welcome for All”.
O momento mais esperado do dia foi sem dúvida o primeiro “Carnival talks”,
com início às 13h, teve uma duração aproximadamente de 2h e pouco.
Foi uma boa experiência, obviamente menos tensa no meu caso por não ter
apresentado mas algum nervosismo por parte dos apresentadores escolhidos nesta
primeira secção, Andressa, Marco e Marcelo. Foram feitas boas apresentações
para aquilo que seria esperado numa fase inicial, obviamente que muita coisa
tem de ser trabalhada mas com certeza que as opiniões, perguntas e sugestões do
público serviram para enriquecer o projecto de todos nós.
Tivemos também o privilégio de assistir à primeira aula leccionada pelo prof.
Leonardo Mataruna, sobre metodologia científica.
Às 17:30, chegou um novo membro do grupo, o Luiz. Após a típica recepção partimos
para um jantar de boas-vindas.

Day 8, the working
day starts at 9am with a filled schedule throughout the day. With a meeting at
11am for clarification and information about the university, the city, the
services they can or can not enjoy but also to talk about the admission process
of our scholarship. Meeting very well oriented that also served as a way to
start this new stage as well as a "Welcome for All".
The most
anticipated moment of the day was undoubtedly the first "Carnival
talks", beginning at 13pm, lasted approximately 2 hours.
It was a good
experience, obviously less tense in my case for not having but some nervousness
on the part of the presenters chosen in this first section, Andressa, Marco and
Marcelo. Good presentations were made to what would be expected at an early
stage, obviously a lot has to be worked but surely the opinions, questions and
suggestions from the public served to enrich the project of all of us.
We also had the
privilege to attend the first lesson taught by prof. Leonardo Mataruna on
scientific methodology.
At 17:30, got a
new member of the group, o Luiz, after the typical reception we went to a
dinner of welcome.
